The site of the most famous gunfight in American history is rumored to be haunted by “The Cowboys” who died at the infamous gunfight there. The OK Corral stormed into history on the afternoon of October 26th, 1881, when the Earps confronted the McLaurys and Clantons between Fly’s Lodging House and his photographic studio.
"You're a daisy if you do." Snarled Doc Holiday while snow lightly fell as the gunfight ended, about 30 shots rang out in about 30 seconds. The fight ended on Fremont Street, which is now a major street through town. It is here that individuals have seen a ghost that most say is that of Billy Clanton, standing on the corner 3rd Street and Fremont Street. It is suspected that this is about where Billy died as well. It appears the most of the ghosts are around the OK Corral as opposed to inside of it, though some will tell you that they see and hear things inside the corral.
